Abstract

In the databases of Science Direct, Web of Science, Scopus, Emerald Insight, Gale,
Springer Link, and Wiley Online Library, a systematic search of the literature was carried out
to understand information quality associated with the marine fishery. A complete analysis of
twelve articles, which presented different approaches related to marine fisheries, was carried
out, demonstrating the importance of observing the information quality in marine fisheries
monitoring. It is noticed that there is a need for new studies to deepen the discussions between
the two themes, aiming at helping to preserve the marine ecosystems, so punished by the human
being.
