THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN TEACHER'S PARTICIPATION IN CURRICULUM MANAGEMENT AND SATISFACTION WITH HIS INSTITUTION

The assessment of curriculum management is fundamental to guarantee the quality of higher education, and for this evaluation to be effective it must take into account all the actors in the process. This article presents one of the results of the evaluation carried out in a Colombian institution, referring to the teachers' perceptions of their own participation in curriculum management and the satisfaction they feel in relation to this university. The categories were determined based on the Context-Input-Process-Product Model (CIPP). A multi-method approach was followed using documentary analysis, semi-structured interviews and a survey. The teachers evaluated their participation in curriculum management positively and aspects that need to be improved are detected. The Group Satisfaction Index (GSI) of the professors indicates that they are satisfied with the institution.
