ONTOLOGIES IN THE FIELD OF LEARNING ANALYTICS: CLASSIFICATION AND AREAS OF APPLICATION

This study presents an integrative literature review to identify and classify the ontologies developed in the area of Learning Analytics (LA), with the objective of investigating which are the types of ontologies developed, as well as classifying them regarding their application within the areas identified in the researched domain. From a set of 116 documents, 25 of them were selected after applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria defined in the methodology to be analyzed and classified in relation to the ontologiesdeveloped and also as to their area of application within the LA. The results showed a higheroccurrence in the development of domain and task ontologies, most of them developed in the area of Customization and Adaptation.
