Abstract

This article had as main objective to analyze the critical factors necessary to the implementation of the business model an innovative startup company - Ioasys Desenvolvimento de Sistemas. Through a case study of a qualitative descriptive approach, individual interviews were conducted with the owners, managers and employees of this startup. The results show that the company defined its business model in function of market demand and that at no time did it choose a particular model advocated in the literature. It was also verified that the company needs to adjust some internal management processes, form a strategic plan and stipulate objectives for the coming years, analyzing the way forward and results achieved, as well as structuring the internal innovation process itself.
