PERCEPTION OF MEDICAL UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS REGARDING VIRTUAL EDUCATION

This article is the summary of an investigation published in the journal Orbis Tertius Nº11 of the Universidad Privada Abierta Latinoamericana (UPAL)-Bolivia. The objective was to describe the perception of undergraduate students regarding virtual education during the period 1-2021, in the Medicine Career of UPAL. A mixed approach was used, with emphasis on the qualitative. A virtual questionnaire was distributed to 501 undergraduate students who attended their professional training in virtual mode.
The results showed a greater inclination for traditional strategies in the face-to-face modality, 57% of the responses agreed that the number of academic activities requested were excessive or numerous and most of the students consider that this modality is not versatile in relation to work tasks.
