Abstract

The crisis generated by the Covid-19 pandemic has confronted many leaders with a situation for which there is no plan or formula considered available. Flexibility and positivity in leadership can favor a culture of error management, as it allows for openness and confidence to accept and learn from mistakes, generating innovation. Through an integrative literature review, the aim of the study is to investigate the role of leadership in the team's creative process in a culture of error management. It was possible to identify that leadership plays a role in supporting and encouraging the team's creativity, favoring the innovation process, given the opportunity for reflection and joint construction of solutions. The role of the leader in his authentic and humble style, supports and favors the culture of error management in favor of creativity and innovation, based on error.
